I can't play World of Warcraft any more. I give up every time I die. I lose interest. Will I ever get past level 31? I want a new character but I've put so much work into Bokaj. No one is ever online enough including me, well...except Klaatu. I'm sick of the Barrens and Hillsbrad. Expansion out soon. I can't play video games anymore...
Oh yeah, we're playing a show with Robin Black at the Bovine Sex Club, Queen St on November 8th. Jagermeister likes us because we drink them so they give us free shit. They like Robin Black too. Some Jager friends from Germany will be coming to the show to party. Brush up on your German...I'm sure you'll get some freebies...
Wir werden sehr betrunken werden. Ja?

TORONTO RELEASE PARTY - FRI SEPT 30th @ THE BOVINE SEXCLUB +19

: )
Hi All, I'm sure you've all heard about this show and will all be in attendance but I've come to beat you over the head with yet another fun flyer advertising a fun summer activity: Band watching! I know all of you Torontonians just love to watch live bands, intently staring at musicians while they play. So, get out your band guides and binoculars! I present you The Super Fun Fantastic family band picnic! Well no, it's not actually a picnic but it's definitely a swell line up, a circle of friends, an event of a lifetime all involving 1 degree of separation. I'd like to call it the "1 Degree of Separation Show" but I came up with that idea to late and now I'm a s-a-d panda:( Not only are we celebrating music, this is The Birthday Massacre's Metropolis "Violet" Compact Disc and "Blue" Digital Video Disc release party. Pretty nifty... Anywho, here's the Flyer...

LYE will be performing at a http://www.gensub.com sponsored party at Sneaky Dee's, Toronto on Friday, May 13th, 2005. Check us out at http://www.myspace.com/lye. There will be lots of free stuff at the show. Sponsored by Jagermeister and Amsterdam Brewery. Here is a message from Gensub: Oh yes! Celebrating the true spirit of RAWK we will be throwing kick ass pre show parties once a month at Sneaky Dee's. Let's cut to the chase... We all want to party, listen to good live music and participate in as much reckless behavior as possible for cheap. We can guarantee you all of this and more!!! Here's the deal... The first 100 people to show up each night between 9 and 10pm receive an authentic backstage pass that gives you VIP treatment. By VIP I mean free food, and hospitality from our generous sponsors Jagermeister and Amsterdam Brewery and tons of opportunity to schmooze. Not to mention networking with other musicians, superior prizes and the chance to have your face plastered on the GEN-SUB web site. NOTE: The free stuff is while quantities last before 10PM - Get there early!! The raw deal is that we want to ensure that at least once a month you know you have a place to go that guarantees you a good time. We want these parties to be huge!!! You know something reminiscent of "THE DIRT". With all of this being said we need your help. Here's what you can do. Show up at 9pm, pay the measly 6 bucks and let us spoil you with all of our freebies. Think you can handle it? Isn't this brilliant! Why we never thought of this before, I will never know. But Hey...Who cares it's happening now. See you there, Darryl, Lish & Erik Wed, Apr. 20th, 2005, 02:17 pm How's Life?
Hello! Well, I’d say a Livejournal entry is long overdue. I’ve been quite busy as usual but even more so over the last 4 months. Typical Jimmy schedule is work 9am – 5pm, Drum 5:30pm – 6:30pm, play guitar/band stuff 6:30pm until I fall asleep, squeeze in a meal or two in there and then do it all over again the following day. I usually keep a more up to date journal at http://www.dirtyspirits.com/board. Things with the new band (LYE) are running smoothly, rehearsing every night, writing and working on the EP constantly. We played our first show in Hamilton this past weekend and had a ton o’ fun! We had our traveling friends come out to see us (*wink*! Thanks for being there and giving Nigel a ride home!) We’re playing our second show at Sneaky Dee’s in Toronto on May 13th, a dreaded FRIDAY the 13th . If you plan to attend get there early, there will be free stuff from our sponsors for the first 100 people. For more info surf here: www.dirtyspirits.com or www.gensub.com Yeah, so ummm, what else is new? I’ve started a website of my very own: http://www.theasocialcommittee.com. The Asocial Committee will be a site/idea where I’ll post some ramblings, visual art, music and what ever else I want. It will eventually be home to my newest musical side project “the asocial committee”. Other projects on the side include my old high school band “velcro” with Forrest (Harpo) P. Patty Patenaude and the temporarily defunct “pure poetry” (Darren and Al- we will rock again!), reason being: my musical diarrhea needs some where to go, and I’d prefer not to shit all over LYE (sorry, bad joke). Well, that’s enough said. Hope all is well, James.

Hello, how is everyone? Is this not the weirdest summer in Toronto ever? What's up with the weather? Oh well, I enjoy cool temperatures...my house doesn't have air conditioning. My band is playing a couple of shows soon. You should come check us out. The all ages show at the Kathedral will be fun! I recently got a digital camera and I want to take pictures with everyone at the show to test it out, and then I'll post them. So, if you come to see us ask me to take a picture with you!
